Briad, a company that began with a single ice cream parlor in New Jersey, now owns and operates 58 Wendy’s® Old Fashioned Hamburger restaurants, 65 T.G.I. Friday’s® restaurants, and is currently developing a number of hotels.  Just last month, the company returned to its origins when it decided to open Cups Frozen Yogurt - That's Hot™. Where else?  In New Jersey.

 

Despite the economy, we’re growing as fast as demand will allow. The latest restaurant concepts to join our portfolio are Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar, serving gourmet burgers, salads, decadent shakes, and sides with a full bar; and Corner Bakery, a café that specializes in pastries, breads, breakfast, gourmet sandwiches and dinner.

The Briad Group® takes pride in training, developing and promoting what it considers the hospitality industry’s most talented employees. Through Briad University, where our management students learn the latest industry techniques and best management practices available, we provide a unique opportunity for employees to learn three different segments of the industry: quick-service, casual-dining and hotel operation. Employees can join the team as hourly employees and move up to manage multiple restaurants or oversee the growth of the hotel group.  We think it’s our attention to training and development that distinguishes us from other franchise-based companies.
